today in art, we were working in the dark room and for the first time we actually developed some of our photos. basically we just put our rolls of negatives onto photo paper, to test how much lighting we need to expose our photos to and then did the whole chemical process. holy jesus it was amazing. our film is black and white and the photos just looked incredible whilst they were lying in the developer chemical, and suddenly the pictures appear, like on a polaroid but in liquid under faint red light. we were all so excited to see the photos and mr. harpley then told us that after a million years of developing photos, he still gets just as excited. if i could give you one piece of advice for now, it would be to take a little stroll down to the art room and check it out
