yesterday i decided that it was time to get off my ass and stop dreaming about this tipee/tree-house/life in a van which i oh-so fantasize of if i'm not going to do anything about it. that pet deer will never be mine if i don't start preparing, i mean, what's this IB education for anyways? pfft. and by preparing, i specifically mean funding. big-time. and as of right now, i have $117.40 in my piggy bank. yes, i know, it is quite a start, but i needed to start somewhere and a hundred bucks give or take seemed to do the thing. i'm one step closer to this wonderfully radical life.

ps. i decided to watch 'into the wild' today as inspiration for my freedom trip. it was all very motivating until he ate the poisonous potato and died. thanks for the support dumbass, now i'm going to be paranoid about every wild potato i ever come across.

i found these two pieces from american apparel on their 'coming soon' page, and i'm set and ready to buy them the second they come out. i'm not really too keen on the dress as a dress though, so i might cut it to a top and buy it in a bigger size so it sits loosely, but perhaps sew in the arms so they aren't loose, but the body is? hrmm, perhaps this only works in my mind .. i guess i'll have to wait and see. and the pants are just amazing, full stop.
